FLUXX Signs Gaming Deal with AOL
Austrian lotteries and betting company, FLUXX, has signed an agreement with AOL to market Internet sports betting in the UK.
Under terms of the agreement, AOL UK customers will be able to place bets on international horse races and other sporting events using FLUXX subsidiary JAXX UK’s betting platform.
The collaboration between AOL and JAXX in the UK is modelled on an existing partnership in Germany, where the AOL lottery service has been operated by JAXX since 2003 and is one of AOL Germany’s most successful e-commerce services.
Following today’s announcement, FLUXX and AOL said they were planning to extend their Internet sports betting partnership to other European countries.
