UK Bans Online Gambling Ads
Monday, August 13th, 2007The UK government has dealt a blow to about one thousand online gambling sites after it declared a ban on offshore Internet gambling companies from advertising in the UK starting September.
According to the new rule, any online firm based in gaming hotspots such as Costa Rica, the Netherlands Antilles and Belize will not be able to market in the UK, either online, on TV, or in newspapers and magazines.

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007Favorite online gambling payment processor, Neteller, has confirmed US players will have access to their accounts in order to withdraw funds frozen for over six months starting Monday, July 30.
The distribution plan follows the Neteller announcement of June 4 2007 advising that the plan had been agreed with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and that US customers may commence requests for the return of their funds from July 30.
